‘Pakoda’ Pandian comes to Chennai. Marina beach welcomes him. He sells snacks in beach to run his livelihood. He comes across a host of characters and his perspective on life changes. His cool and casual attitude earns him many friends in the beach. An old man (Sundararajan) and postman (Jithan Mohan) turn friends for these children. The beach is the abode of lovers, it is visited by thousands of lover couple. One such couple is Siva Karthikeyan and Oviya. The contemporary mindset of lovers is brought out through them in this movie. Pandian has a passion to study. He decides to work in the evening at the beach and achieve his passion. Eventually the film ends with a strong message.

Urvasi is the only daughter of the village landlord. She and her gang of boys do mischief in the village. Bhagyaraj arrives in the village as the new
school teacher to resume the closed school. Initially they tease him but later she changes her mind when she comes to know that he is a widower.
Urvasi tries to help him which he rejects. She develops a liking for him and Bhagyaraj is not interested. She marries him by deceit. However Bhagyaraj
never reconciles to the trick played on him by her. Whether the couple resolve their misunderstanding and come together forms the rest of the storyline.

Madhavan (Prabhu) is a lawyer. His large family includes parents, two sisters and a brother. Circumstances force him to marry Abirami. Later Madhavan conducts the wedding of his sisters. He and Abirami are unable to
consummate their marriage due to problems at home. How the couple manage to enjoy the basic pleasures of married life forms the rest of the narration. Vadivelu and Vivek take care of the humour.

Rajnikant and Shoba are siblings. Rajni is a winch operator for the power house. Jayalakshmi seeks shelter in Rajni’s house and he allows her to stay. Sarath Babu arrives as the new engineer. Once Sarath counsels Rajni that winch shouldn’t be used for personal purposes. Rajni dislikes it. They both become inimical due to a clash of ego. Rajni loses one of his hands in a road accident. Rajni and Jayalakshmi fall in love and they get married. Meantime Sarath loves Shoba. Due to the enmity, Rajni looks for a different groom much to the dislike of everyone. Whether Shoba-Sarath pair unites and Rajni-Sarath get into good terms is the rest of the narration.

Madhu is a romantic comedy Tamil Movie. Ramesh is a free going guy who doesn’t bother much about his life. He sees
Priyamani and falls in love with her. But, Ashish Vidyarthi wants Priyamani to become a Nun. Whether Ramesh succeeds
in his love forms the climax of the movie
